大家對這個名字或許不熟, 但我如說他同時也是頑皮豹主題曲的作曲者,那你一定會印象深刻啦.

華府廣場 - 美國, 1963年.

華府廣場(中文又名:華盛頓廣場)是由紐約的爵士樂團The Village Stompers於1963所演奏,最早為演奏曲,並曾得到Billboard該年11月前百大的第二名.

這首歌紅了之後,有好多人填詞編成歌唱曲出版,前後有 The Ames Brothers, the Kirby Stone Four, Percy Faith, Lawrence Welk,

Kenny Ball, Spike Jones, James Last, Andre Kostelanetz, Kai Winding, The Ventures, and The Dukes of Dixieland.....好多好多,所以市面上你能看到的版本真的是多如過江之鯽,

但是本曲的原曲卻是演奏曲,以下是原版 45轉的小唱片:

拉丁美洲之夜 - 美國, 1963年.

本曲原名:Blame It On The Bossa Nova, 為 Cynthia Weil 與 Barry Mann 所作,由 Eydie Gorme演唱,並在該年3月拿到美國排行榜第7名.本曲熱門的程度不只在美國,

它同時澳洲,南非和瑞典拿過第一名,在挪威拿到第二名,在英國拿到第32名. 在義大利和西班牙,唱片也是大賣.

Bossa Nova 其實是1950年代晚期盛行於巴西的舞曲, Blame It On The Bossa Nova這首歌紅了以後,瑞典文,法文,拉丁文....各種語版的翻唱曲也紛紛出籠.

土風舞用的是原唱曲.

Tom Cat - 美國, 1963年.

本曲是由美國The Rooftop Singers 於1963年錄製,帶一點爵士風.

本舞舞型源自於南美洲,屬於 Variante, (我猜跟英文Variant意思差不多), 有多變的,隨意的意思.

台灣的舞法是由李伯元老師,王善平老師和賴正雄老師三位老師合力編成.

由於年代久遠,找不到原曲的MV,只好用人家的家庭錄影帶的襯底音樂來代替.(此配樂就是原曲):

原曲名: Oh! Carol
原主唱: Neil Sedaka (如果你記憶力好的話,沒錯,Oh! Carol跟 One Way Ticket都是Neil Sedaka 所唱的,而且收錄在同一張唱片裏.請參閱125樓我的PO文.)
(土風舞用的歌曲非原曲,而是由2首老歌 remix, 第二首我一時還想不起來是哪一首,等想到再補充進來.)

此曲是Neil寫给當時同為歌手Carole King的情歌, Carole 是Neil Sedaka的女友, 那時她尚未成名,當時倆人感情很好,並不像歌中描述的那樣. Carole King 也寫过一首Oh! Neil作為回應. 可惜最終有情人還是沒有成為眷屬.
