墨西哥扭扭歌曲乃改編自很有歷史的古典鄉村歌曲:"Battle Of New Orleans",
但歌詞以及編曲改編很多,目前我還沒有找到土風舞版本,

這是一首很有趣的舞,音樂由完整樂句逐漸到靜音,到最後音樂再度響起,就聽到此起彼落的嘆息聲....

很多舞友喜歡用這一首舞挑戰自己的節奏感,更有很多許多舞友喜歡在放這首舞的時候在旁邊惡作劇,故意擾亂大家的節奏感.

其實這首舞的來歷也跟這首音樂一樣精采,讓我們繼續看下去......

這首舞的音樂曲名比舞名多了幾個字,叫做"Steppin' out with my baby",它原來是1948年的一部歌舞片"花團錦簇"(Easter Parade)的插曲,

由男主角,舞王Fred Astaire演唱,這部電影也獲得當年奧斯卡最佳歌舞片音樂獎.

讓我們先來看看這首歌出現在電影中的片段.....舞王Fred Astaire在這段劇情中有很精采的踢躂舞演出唷!

接下來說一下這首舞啦,這首舞承襲電影中節奏清楚的踢躂舞特色,以節奏與腳步動作為主.但是有舞友知道嗎,這首舞本來是雙人舞.

我看過一些資料也都是雙人舞,但是民國52年,美國凱蒂小姐來台灣介紹本舞時不知何故,以單人行列舞介紹,還誤以為本舞是加拿大舞

(我三十幾年前的印象就是以為散步舞是加拿大舞,後來讀了一些書之後才改正錯誤觀念), 自此,這首舞在台灣就以單人行列舞流傳至今.

其實雙人舞法跟我們現在的舞法差不多,差異只在於雙人舞舞伴的位置變換而已.

現在來介紹一下原曲的歌詞與歌曲:

這首舞的書籍資料迷惑了我幾十年,因為舞名竟然是貝多芬第五號交響曲,而編舞老師的名字卻又是以演奏貝多芬第五號交響曲Disco舞曲版聞名而進入排行榜的Walter Murphy,這一切的一切真的讓人狐疑.總不會那麼剛好當初這首自編舞名就是取名貝多芬第五號交響曲,編舞者的名字又剛好是同名同姓的Walter Murphy吧.

經由小董老師的資料,我終於找到本舞的配曲資料. 本曲是1981年由The Oak Ridge Boys所出的7吋45轉的Elvira單曲小唱片的B面.這張唱片也得到當年度鄉村排行榜的第一名.

這首是我在高二的時候,用唱片聽寫不出來歌詞的鐵板歌曲. 由於當年資訊流通不發達,也沒有叫做internet的年代,

想要知道歌詞,又找不到原版唱片時,就只能用聽寫的方式,硬把歌詞給"聽"出來.尤其是英國貓王Engelbert Humperdinck的歌,

好聽至極,土風舞界拿來編舞的曲子真的太多了.高二的時候"慕情"剛出來,也就是Engelbert Humperdinck唱的"A Man Without Love",

我硬是把弦歌唱片第1039集給聽爛了,終於把"慕情"的歌詞給聽寫出來.可是碰到腳踏車華士,那就踢到鐵板了,

怎麼聽來聽去幾乎全曲都聽出來了,可是總是有一句就是拼不出來,或是詞意前後不連貫?! ,

之後才知道原來鐵板竟然出現在歌名---是法文!

本曲曲名: Les Bicyclettes De Belsize, 原文為法文, 意思是:在Belsize公園中的腳踏車

本曲原為英國1968年同名的30分鐘短電影的配曲.由Barry Mason 和 Leslie Reed所作.

這部極短篇的電影講的故事是一個年輕男子在倫敦的Belsize公園中騎腳踏車,為了看一位美女不小心跟人家相撞,因而

邂逅了一位時裝模特兒的愛情故事.(青蛙註: 其實倫敦並沒有"Belsize"這個公園,以後到倫敦旅遊時,不要想去找這個公園嘿! )

我們先來看本這部小電影....喔,不, 是短篇電影,的開場部分跟我們熟悉的腳踏車華士音樂比較有關的部份先睹為快:

青蛙註: 本部電影對白相當少,幾乎都是用音樂貫穿全場,所以下面這個片段已經佔了整部電影的幾乎1/5,但是還聽不到一句台詞哦.
(畫面中怎麼會有一個男子赤裸著上身只著內褲跳窗而出?粉可疑喔~~ )

當年有2位歌星分別主唱法文版與英文版,法文版是由 Mireille Mathieu主唱,而由Engelbert Humperdinck演唱的英文版本

則進入英國流行歌曲排行榜的前十名,同時也進入了美國排行榜的前40名.
